What we collect
When you join the waitlist or answer our questionnaire: your email, optionally your first name, and your answers. When you pledge in the founder round: your name and email, plus your pledge details. Payment cards are collected and stored entirely by Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your card number. We use PostHog for site analytics (which pages are visited and how the site is used).
How we use it
To run the founder round (confirmations, pledge changes, the pre-charge notice, delivery updates), to send you Monky updates you signed up for, and to understand how the site is used. That is it.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or send email on behalf of anyone else. Your data is shared only with the services that make the site work: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting), and PostHog (analytics).
Your choices
Unsubscribe from any email with one reply. Want your data deleted? Email hello@monkimals.com and we will remove you from our lists and, where the law allows, from our records. Note that pledge and payment records we are required to keep (tax, accounting, disputes) are kept for as long as the law requires.
Children
Monky is bought by adults. Our site, waitlist, and founder round are for people 18 and older; we do not knowingly collect information from children.
